During the second part of the CBS docuseries The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey on Monday night, a team of investigators revealed who they believe killed the 6-year-old beauty pageant queen almost 20 years ago — and it's a theory that many people have suspected for years.
After extensive examination of the evidence, every one of the investigators involved with the show concluded that JonBenét's older brother Burke Ramsey likely committed the crime, and that their parents, John and Patsy Ramsey, helped cover it up.
"In my opinion, the Ramsey family did not want law enforcement to solve this case, and that's why it remains unsolved," retired FBI profiler Jim Clemente said.
While the entire Ramsey family was cleared of suspicion in 2008, the theory that Burke accidentally killed his sister in a fit of rage has always been a favorite for both police and amateur sleuths alike.
Phil, Burke adamantly denied that he was involved with his sister's death — but many found his behavior during the interview to be extremely unnatural, and some suggested it might be a sign of his guilt.
