After an amazing Week 1 and overachieving Week 2, we've got a schedule perfectly laid out for maximum Saturday, with a huge game in each time slot and plenty of other stuff going on elsewhere.
Florida State-Louisville, Alabama-Ole Miss or Ohio State-Oklahoma would easily qualify for game of the week status in plenty of weeks, and we get them all in one day, without having to miss any of each.
And then the late-night segment is loaded with potential excitement.
Things are arranged based on my subjective concept of stakes, competitiveness, quality, and what else is going on at the time.
I'm told I've greatly underrated Michigan State-Notre Dame, which is another ranked game.
