The rumor that season seven of Pretty Little Liars, currently airing now, will be its last have been circulating since last year, but now creator and showrunner I.
"We are a family, and it will be hard to say goodbye to a show that has made such an impact on young audiences and been a mouthpiece for cultural change.
I'm excited for fans to finally have all of their questions answered, and I believe they will be satisfied with the wild ride that is our last 10 episodes." According to Entertainment Weekly, the show will end with a two-hour series finale, and at some point there will be a long-promised #PLLWedding.
The summer finale of season seven airs on Tuesday, with the final 10 episodes to follow beginning in April 2017.
EW also notes that the second half of the season will feature additional characters from Rosewood's past, like Wren and Pastor Ted, in addition to people who have already returned (Paige and Jenna, for example).
