From SportsDay's Evan Grant: "According to two sources, the Rangers will acquire Yankees DH Carlos Beltran for RHP Dillon Tate and a low-level prospect.
Fullmer has pitched in the majors this year; Tate has spent the last couple of weeks trying to rework his delivery at Class A Hickory." Beltran, 39, batted .304 with 22 home runs and 62 RBIs in 99 games for the Yankees this season.
He joins his seventh club in Texas, having previously played for the Royals, Astros, Mets, Giants, Cardinals and Yankees.
