Skole played high school football at Blessed Trinity High School in the Atlanta area and graduated in the 2010 class where he was a 3-star prospect.
He had football offers from Georgia Tech, Georgia, Auburn and others at that time before committing to Georgia Tech in football and baseball back then.
“Kirby was the first one to reach out to me, once baseball season ended and he made it seem like he would really like to have me a lot,” Skole said.”He gave me the basic stuff for a recruit, but it was funny doing it all over again five years later, it was fun though.” “I think on the defensive side, I am not sure if it will be linebacker or safety, there were a couple of schools that wanted me to stick it out on the offensive side of the ball, but that was part of the reason I am going with Georgia, they want me on defense,” he said.
