Iona rallies to 6th straight final
Iona, the fourth seed in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament, earned the right to play for a title after beating No. Peter's could not get all the way home as Iona roared back from a 14-point deficit with 15:28 left in the second half. It also helped Iona that the Gaels started making all kinds of shots. It also helped that the Gaels took care of the ball. Peter's Davauhnte Turner, the second best free-throw shooter on the team (nearly 80 percent), missed three foul shots.

Devauhnte Turner made a layup and then two free throws to pull Saint Peter's within one with 17 seconds remaining, but Crawford hit two foul shots before Casimir's steal clinched it. Saint Peter's led by double figures until Casimir hit two 3s in an 11-0 run that pulled Iona within three with 13 minutes to play.
