Though the 2017–18 season has not been as fruitful as hoped for the Wisconsin Badgers with a young, unproven team, a couple of key contributors found themselves with all-conference honors on Monday.
Forward Ethan Happ claimed a first-team All-Big Ten selection from the media and a second-team nod by the coaches.
In the regular season, the redshirt junior led the Badgers in scoring (17.9 points per game), rebounds (8.2 per game), assists (3.8 per game), steals, and blocks.
According to UW, Happ is the eighth Badger to win multiple first-team All-Big Ten honors, following the likes of Alando Tucker (2006–07), Jordan Taylor (2011–12), and Frank Kaminsky (2014–15).
Davison was also named the conference’s Freshman of the Week after a career-high 30 points in Sunday’s 68–63 loss to No.
