Weigh your options before the Xiaomi Mi 6 launch - From GQ India
The Mi 6 features, as has become the norm for Xiaomi phones, top-of-the-line specs on paper: 4-6 GB RAM, 64-128 GB hard-disk, full-HD display (Quad HD 2k for the Plus) and 8 MP (12 MP for the Plus) rear camera, along with a Snapdragon 835 processor (the same processor expected to be featured in Chinese rival OnePlus’ next offering the OP5).
The OP5’s specs and design have recently been leaked quite often and all the leaks are pointing to a worthy rival for the Galaxy S8.
As for specs, the OP5 is reported to feature the same Snapdragon 835 as the Mi6, but is going to be a powerhouse with 8 GB of RAM.
With features that rival the iPhone 7 and Galaxy S8 and a lower price tag, the P10 might be a good option for anyone with a little more to spend than the Mi 6, but not enough for a Galaxy S8 or iPhone 7.
As for features, the P10 features a 20 MP + 12 MP dual rear camera powered by a Huawei Kirin 960 octa-core processor along with 4GB RAM + 64 GB memory (Exp.) It’ll set you back by Rs 55,000.
