It's an honorary day that dates back to the 1700s for the British monarchy -- the annual Trooping the Colour took place Saturday afternoon in London.
Boasting a guest list of over 1,000 soldiers, the royal family, thousands of onlookers and millions of worldwide views, the Trooping the Colour is one of the most anticipated royal events of the year.
Dressed in suspenders, the young royal, who turns four quite soon, stood with his mouth agape, clearly entranced by the planes flying past.
At one point, she sat looking contemplative, with her chin resting on her hand.
Dressed in a frilly pink dress, Charlotte matched with Kate Middleton, who stunned in an Alexander McQueen ensemble.
