Good — because HGTV just announced some pretty major news that’s sending fans everywhere into a total freakout: Fixer Upper is getting a spinoff.
According to Deadline, the Scripps Network, which owns HGTV, describes Behind the Design as “the perfect series for viewers who want to know how Joanna Gaines creates her signature home designs and how it all comes together so perfectly — shiplap and all.” While an official premiere date hasn’t yet been set, HGTV will be airing a sneak peek at the show on Tuesday, March 28 at 11 PM ET, so you don’t have to wait too long to get a taste of what it will be like.
Now in its 4th season, Fixer Upper has amassed something of a cult following since it first premiered in May of 2013, and much of that success is due to the incredible talent (and adorable chemistry) of its married stars, Chip and Joanna Gaines.
