United Launch Alliance has faced stiff competition for government contracts from SpaceX, which landed Space Test Program-2, a launch expected to take off from Florida in the third quarter of this year.
YouTube TV, Google’s effort to compete with cable-television companies and online-streaming platforms, will soon expand into Orlando.
The service, which offers live programming from ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, ESPN and other regional networks, will expand into 10 new markets, including Central Florida, in the next couple of weeks.
YouTube TV will directly compete with streaming companies such as Netflix, Hulu and Amazon, which have taken a large bite of the overall TV-viewing market.
It’s also similar to services such as Sling, Playstation Vue and DirecTV Now.
