Royal Jordanian Airlines has a few suggestions for those affected by the electronics ban.
On Thursday, the Jordan-based airline tweeted "12 things to do on a 12-hour flight with no laptop of tablet" — suggesting passengers read a book, meet the person next to them, or meditate.
But some of the suggestions were a bit more satirical, such as "analyze the meaning of life" or "engage in primitive dialogue from the pre-internet era." You can see the full list below: The tweet comes after President Donald Trump's administration introduced a new travel restriction that prevents passengers on certain flights from eight Muslim-majority countries from using a laptop, tablet, handheld games, DVD players, and other electronics.
Inbound flights from 10 different Middle Eastern airports are affected, including those serviced by Royal Jordanian, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Kuwait Airways, Saudi Arabian Airlines, EgyptAir, Turkish Airlines, and Royal Air Maroc.
The United Kingdom followed suit with a similar electronics ban earlier this week.
